The mineral springs pools.
the refrigerator made noise recycling itself too often for a small refrigerator. The air conditioner did not have a thermastat to regulate it. Basically on or off.
I booked on your site and requested room with 2 beds, when we arrived that wasn´t available
The heated mineral pools were heavenly. The people who paid to use the pool (non-hotel guests) were generally loud and some of them were literally insane, the last evening we were there, but capacity is regulated, and the pool is for guests only after 9:00, so we had ample time to relax and enjoy. The bed was worn but comfortable. Room size was large. Just a block from the main drag, with all the restaurants and shops. This is our new favorite lodging in the Napa Valley, given the value for the money. I would not pay more than $175. The view from our room was priceless, how've.
The pools are open for non-hotel guests. Can get noisy and crowded. People show up early to mark their chairs with their belongings, and then leave for hours. The hotel staff should regulate that. The in room coffee was nasty, would've been nice to have good coffee in the lobby at the very least.
Location, the hot springs and kitchenette
carpeting, bedspread need updating. Wine glasses (plastic ones ok too) would be nice to have in the kitchen since we are in teh wine country.
Our room was right along the street and was very noisy both days we stayed!
the pools, the comfy bed, spacious rooms, kitchenette, location to shops, and free parking. Very good value for the price. Found a hair on the vanity, not one of ours! Wish we could have had a new sponge in our kitchen.
I liked the location and it's proximity to the main street
The room was outdated, but I'm told all the rooms are being renovated. I wish the room had had a microwave, and a few more items in the kitchenette
clean, good spa's, convenient, friendly
The location is excellent. The pools are wonderful! The late hours are great and convenient. You can walk anywhere in Calistoga and leave you car parked for as long as you're there. Many great restaurants nearby.
The landscaping work they were doing, although we were warned about it in advance, and I realize it has to be done sometime. It's going to look great when it's done, but it was noisy for a while on Tuesday. Our room smelled like bug spray when you first walk in.
We enjoyed the pools and family friendly atmosphere at Calistoga Spa Hot Springs very much. The hotel was in the perfect location within walking distance to many attractions. The work-out facility was also very nice and offered occasional yoga classes. The rooms were nothing special, but did have a kitchen. The only complaint was the street noise, music and traffic from the surrounding neighborhood. We turned on the air conditioner at night to drown out the noise. Overall, we greatly enjoyed the hotel and would return again.
the pools and the price.
Pools did not open before 9 am in the morning, which was disappointing. No microwave in the room.
We enjoyed the stay. Pools were great nice ambiance @ nite.
the kids were all over the swimming pool for LAPS! I had to ask the security to move them and tell the parents to control them!
This is not a Spa this place is a Motel with a big “M”. No bellman, the office is only open a few hours a day so we had to wait until 8:30 in the morning to check out and get on the road, the staff was rude, there was landscaping construction going on which was inconvenient and noisy, the “resort” allows the local public use of the pools which makes it impossible for the paying guest to get chairs/tables in the shade, the locals check in early in the day and put towels and other things on tables an chairs and then they leave only to come back late in the day so the paying guest have no access to the shade all day. We will never go back and never recommend this Motel to our friends!
Room with kitchenette, hot mineral pools, cleanliness and friendly staff
The choice of lap swim, big mineral pool at 100 degrees, and big hot tub set at 104 degrees is outstanding. All water from local mineral hot springs. Full gym and massage therapies available on site. We have been going here for 35 years. Grandson learned how to swim here when he was 6.
We liked everything.
